Digital Technology
We used many media technologies in the construction of our opening film.  Creativity
We used a lot of our initial ideas and feedback from our audience to create a new and original film that would be appealing and original.
Research and Planning
Our research and planning was very helpful in helping us create an appealing opening scene. We wanted to create an action thriller film and the minority of candidates in our questionnaire also wanted the same genres.

Post-Production
Feedback from our audience allowed us to create a more appealing opening film and kept close to the action and thriller genre.

Using conventions from real texts
Our opening film, The Alliance, was an action thriller film, and we wanted to stay conventional to the genre so we included violent action scenes in the beginning to draw in the audience. Our work with the sound in our film also linked to an action thriller film as it as it was fast paced and also had a loud bass sound to making the opening more dramatic.
